Tom practices in the government services, litigation, and labor and employment areas. He represents clients in a wide array of matters, with emphasis on litigation, employment and labor matters, school law issues, municipal law issues, alternative dispute resolution, and Ohio Public Records and Sunshine Law. . He has defended individual, class, and collective actions, and has litigated several cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the Courts of Appeal in Ohio, and trial courts in Ohio. He provides annual Public Records and Sunshine Law training to the firm’s public sector clients, and has presented to several outside organizations on the same subjects.
