Biography

With more than 15 years of working as in-house counsel, Rebecca has significant experience leading teams in all aspects of real estate construction, acquisition and disposition, development, and lending projects. Her previous experience as senior vice president and general counsel of a national homebuilder and a senior housing developer and operator makes her very well versed in all aspects of the real estate industry and provides her with the broad understanding of the internal pressures her clients face.

Throughout her career Rebecca has counseled clients on a variety of real estate transactions including master plan communities, retail developments, self-storage facilities, multifamily projects, single family developments, senior housing, and single-family homes for rent product. Rebecca works with clients to assess risk, manage entitlement and regulatory issues, and provide real time strategies for current economic and social constraints.

In addition to her transactional real estate practice, Rebecca negotiates, drafts, and closes business transactions and works with clients on complex lending arrangements including syndications and construction and permanent financing.

In her spare time Rebecca enjoys riding her horse, playing tennis and golf, attending sporting and performing arts events, and spending time with her family.
