Souhila represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including federal and state litigation and administrative proceedings related to claims of wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related claims. As such, Souhila has defended employers against claims brought under Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, the ADEA, the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, and the Kentucky Wage and Hour Act. Souhila’s litigation experience allows her to serve as a trusted advisor to employers navigating disciplinary matters, terminations, wage and hour compliance, policy changes, and other employment matters.
In her practice, Souhila represents a wide variety of small, mid-size, and large employers, including those in the manufacturing, logistics, technology, food service, construction, retail, health care, and customer service industries, as well as several Kentucky municipalities.
Souhila joined the firm in 2018 after participating in the 2017 Summer Associate Program. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. Before attending the University of Louisville, Souhila, a native of France, earned a law degree from the University of Orleans, France.
