Frost Brown Todd’s Dallas office welcomes Member Laura Stapleton to the firm’s Tax practice group. A Texas-licensed certified public accountant, Stapleton assists businesses with federal, state and international income tax planning. Her work also includes assisting companies with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of their businesses, raising capital through private offerings and advising private companies contracting with the federal government. Stapleton has more than 20 years of experience practicing tax law in Texas and has her Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.

“Laura will assist our Private Equity industry team with acquisitions and dispositions, to and for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, while providing advice for maximizing the tax benefits of pass-through tax entities, including funds and investment vehicles,” said FBT Dallas Member-in-Charge Eddy Moore “We look forward to the additional strength she will add to our PE team and our M&A work in Dallas, Texas and FBT’s 15 markets.”

She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and Dedman School of Law with a Master of Taxation from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
