Representation in construction of new business development on a 222 acre site. Project included oversight of a completion of a Phase I/Phase II environmental assessment and obtaining a Section 401 water permit and an isolated wetland permit from Ohio EPA. These permits were necessary in order to complete construction activities which impacted a portion of the Big Walnut Creek (within the Upper Scioto River Watershed) and a portion of the abandoned former Ohio-Erie Canal. The client also obtained a Section 404 water permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and agreed to perform certain environmental remediation and mitigation which were negotiated with the agencies.
