August 2006, Frost Brown Todd obtained a favorable trial outcome for R+L Carriers, Inc., a national transportation carrier in a personal injury action, arising from a rear-end motor vehicle accident, brought by Declan McAuley in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The suit culminated in a two-week jury trial before Magistrate Judge Moyer.

Estimated Damages: McAuley requested nearly $8 million in damages at trial claiming a traumatic head injury with resulting permanent impairment to his pituitary gland, which he argued created substantial and irreversible endocrine system deficiencies.
