Biography

Ryan’s practice focuses primarily on negotiating and structuring complex commercial lending, corporate finance, and real estate transactions. He has represented and counseled various financial institutions on matters ranging from construction lending to mortgage warehouse financing.  Ryan also assists clients with collateral issues under the Uniform Commercial Code and general corporate matters consisting of acquisitions, governance, and compliance.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ryan spent eleven years working in the banking industry. Most recently, he was transaction manager in the institutional finance group at Citibank supporting the bank’s capital markets group and global spread products group. Prior to Citibank, Ryan worked as a loan originator for Arvest Bank. During law school, Ryan was the judicial intern to the Honorable Robert R. Rigsby of the D.C. Superior Court and worked as a litigation clerk within the Department of Homeland Security – Transportation Security Administration Office of the Chief Counsel.
