Biography

Bob is the Chief Financial Officer at Frost Brown Todd, where he works closely with senior leadership, department chairs, and executive committee members to advance the financial health and success of the firm. Responsible for all financial, accounting, and budgeting operations and related matters, Bob regularly monitors and reports to stakeholders on various KPIs, helping to ensure the firm is on track to reach its financial goals. His other responsibilities include advising on setting billing rates and alternative fee arrangements, partner compensation, tax compliance, succession planning, audits, risk management, budgeting/forecasting, new business intake and conflicts. Bob also advises on the firmโ€™s contractual arrangements with banks and other third-party vendorsโ€”always with an eye toward increasing efficiency, cost savings, and overall profitability.

Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Bob held leadership positions at multiple AM Law 200 firms over the course of his decades-long career. He has substantive experience leading finance and accounting teams during complex M&A transactions, including a successful merger that resulted in a combined firm of more than 3,000 attorneys, ranked in the top 10 with respect to size and revenue. Bob’s prior roles have also given him a high degree of proficiency when handling and analyzing large amounts of financial and operational data. Drawing on data from a variety of sources, Bob works with firm leaders to implement strategic initiatives that increase the speed and accuracy of financial reporting, while generating new lines of revenue and retaining key clients.
