Mike focuses his practice in business litigation and labor and employment. Since joining Frost Brown Todd, Mike has handled general litigation matters, including cases involving personal injury, premises liability, and breach of contract. His background has a strong focus on employment matters. He has handled all stages of litigation on employment matters, including breach of contract, non-compete, breach of fiduciary duty, and discrimination cases. He has significant experience with key employment laws like Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Prior to becoming a full-time attorney, Mike was a sports broadcaster with experience working for ESPN Radio, SportsRadio 610 in Houston, Texas, and Sirius-XM Radio. He still contributes to Mad Dog Sports Radio on weekends.
Sat second chair in successful litigation of a breach-of-contract case, representing former CEO against his former employer. Represented client in a pro bono matter involving a suit to quiet title and successfully negotiated a settlement involving eight total parties.

Because of his background in sports, Mike is often asked to opine on sports law matters around the country. He is a frequent guest on sports radio and TV stations, including KHOU 11 in Houston, 670 The Score in Chicago, 93-7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, 92-3 the Fan in Cleveland, and many more. In June 2022, Mike obtained an exclusive with Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg to discuss the grand jury process for current Cleveland Browns and former Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
