Biography

Katie represents employers in a broad range of labor & employment matters, including both immigration and employment law matters. Specifically, Katie advises clients, and litigates, on matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful terminations, workplace investigations, employee handbooks, employment and restrictive agreements, wage and hour law, and other personnel policies and concerns. Katie also represents employers in employment-based immigration matters, including obtaining H-1B, TN, L, Blanket L, O-1, and E non-immigrant visas, obtaining green cards, advising and training on I-9 compliance, and conducting I-9 audits. Katie has unique experience involving both her employment and immigration specialties, such as representing employers in I-9 audits and discrimination charges and back wages claims in the visa context. In addition, Katie has experience working with a range of clients from individuals and startups to global companies.
