Frost Brown Todd represents Gem City Chemicals, Inc., a chemical company located in Dayton, Ohio, in a complex class action toxic tort matter. Plaintiffs, residents of a neighborhood abutting an industrial area, sued Gem City Chemicals, Chrysler, LLC, Aramark Uniform & Career Apparel, LLC, Behr Dayton Thermal Products, LLC, and others alleging that defendants’ operations contaminated groundwater, which migrated onto their properties and caused health and property damages. Plaintiffs seek to have a class certified and pursue their claims in a class action lawsuit. The case is presently stayed due to the Chrysler bankruptcy.
