Frost Brown Todd (FBT) announces the addition of Member Melissa Ford Doell, who joins the firm’s Indianapolis office and Finance and Real Estate Practice Group. Doell focuses her practice on general business counsel and real estate transactions. She has practiced law since 1998 and has extensive experience representing buyers, sellers and developers of real estate in purchases, sales, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, property tax abatement matters and affordable housing tax credit matters. She also represents privately held businesses and business owners in acquisitions and dispositions, and counsels companies on a variety of contractual matters.

Doell earned her J.D. at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a B.S. in Business Economics/Public Policy from the Kelley School of Business. She is a frequent speaker on business formations and transactions.
