Frost Brown Todd (FBT) was named a 2019 top international law firms for India-related matters by India Business Law Journal (IBLJ). One of only 20 firms in the world included in the “Firms to Watch” list, IBLJ highlights FBT’s work assisting Indian startups, especially those in technology, breaking into the U.S. market. The firm’s data privacy partnership with Indian firm Kochhar and Co. along with its patent, employment and tax work with both U.S. and Indian companies are also cited. Click here to read the full article.

“This honor comes at a time of growth for both Frost Brown Todd and our international services team,” said the team’s chair Joe Dehner. “Two years ago, associate Sunrita Sen joined FBT. She makes annual visits to the region where she was raised to consult with clients. This past year Victoria Beckman, who co-chairs our privacy and data security practice, brought a substantial existing Indian client base when she started at the firm. Overall our firm’s Middle America footprint has grown to 13 markets in nine states. These additions provide both our Indian and U.S. clients access to a unique set of resources.”

Firms are selected based on a review of more than 600 law firms across the world who have worked on deals and matters connected to India in the last year. This is the 13th year for the rankings. Vantage Asia publishes IBLJ, an online resource for in-house counsel, lawyers in private practice and other legal business professionals with interest in the Asia-Pacific region.
