Practice includes commercial litigation in energy industry
Frost Brown Todd’s (FBT) newest office in Houston added new Member Richard A. Stewart. He is the tenth attorney to join the office that opened in summer 2020. Stewart is a litigator and trial lawyer representing domestic and international clients in complex commercial litigation in Texas. He has tried, briefed, and argued different cases and appeals on both the state and federal levels. He represents domestic and international clients in the oil and gas industry, including both onshore and offshore operators, drilling contractors and service companies.

In addition to expanding our expertise in the energy industry, Rich also brings a wealth of knowledge about the transportation industry to the Houston office,” said Member-in-Charge Zenobia Harris Bivens. “Rich’s experience providing strategic business counsel, such as training, safety, investigations, emergency response and policies and procedures, is critical to our plan to grow FBT’s Houston office and to serve key industries in the market.”
Stewart also speaks French and has served clients from around the globe, but he remains committed to serving the Houston community as a leader in a number of civic and charitable organizations.
