Practice focuses on the health care industry
Member Matt Arend joined Frost Brown Todd’s Cincinnati office as part of the firm’s health care innovation industry team. He assists companies with compliance, risk management, ethics and general business matters. Arend serves as a lead counsel for several Cincinnati area hospitals in numerous high-profile legal matters. His work also includes guidance with federal and state privacy and data security issues, including HIPAA compliance, breach analyses, cybersecurity and state data breach laws.

Arend is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School. He has served as an adjunct professor on health law and policy for both the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University.
