Frost Brown Todd Chief Diversity Officer Chris Johnson Named “2022 Top 15 Champions of Diversity”

Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Chief Diversity Officer Chris Johnson was selected as one of DiversityGlobal’s “2022 Top 15 Champions of Diversity.” The list is comprised of proven leaders in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) from multiple industries across the world.

Johnson was nominated by peers as someone who demonstrates excellence in a variety of areas, from promoting a more diverse workforce to modeling inclusive leadership and driving DEI best practices within the workplace and the broader community. The independent editorial board that selected Johnson noted several common themes among this year’s champions: “Each of the Champions has developed innovative, strategic approaches with an emphasis on the word ‘strategic’… and the intention of making enduring change far into the future.”

“We are proud to see Chris’ hard work recognized on a global level,” said FBT Chief Executive Officer Adam Hall. “It reinforces the value we knew Chris would bring to the firm as a leader of Frost Brown Todd’s continued DEI journey, as well as the impact Chris’ experience and dedication will have on the clients and communities we are privileged to serve.”

Johnson, who joined FBT in January 2022 after serving in a comparable role at a Fortune 500 company, is in the process of rolling out a multi-pronged DEI 2.0 action plan that will reimagine DEI leadership and structure in an effort to activate allies, broaden accountability and deepen DEI acumen across the firm. He also intends to create a more robust data infrastructure for tracking key DEI performance metrics and enhancing transparency related to the firm’s ongoing efforts and progress.
