  • Frost Brown Todd attorney Lark Mallory joins Columbus Foundation’s Professional Council

Frost Brown Todd is pleased to announce that member attorney Lark Mallory has been appointed to the Columbus Foundation’s Professional Council. The Columbus Foundation (TCF) assists donors and others in philanthropic efforts to strengthen the Columbus community for the benefit of all its residents. The Professional Council is an organization of attorneys, accountants and financial advisors dedicated to public service and education about charitable giving. It is a forum for professionals who advise on wealth management and transfer to come together, discuss new TCF initiatives and share information on charitable giving and estate planning strategies.

As an attorney at Frost Brown Todd, Mallory focuses her practice on serving the needs of businesses and individuals in a variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financing and commercial real estate. She routinely counsels clients on entity selection, formation and governance, capitalization and financing, and resolution of disputes among minority owners. She also advises tax exempt organizations on a variety of matters, such as applying for and obtaining tax exempt status, business ventures and political activities. She also reviews and advises tax exempt organizations on prospective investments to ensure compliance with investing rules and tax laws.

Mallory has held leadership positions in numerous community organizations. She supports the Center for Healthy Families, an organization that assists young single parents raise healthy children, and Amethyst, an organization assisting women in the recovery from addiction. She has been appointed by the Mayor and County Commissioners to serve on the board of Affordable Housing Trust of Columbus and Franklin County (AHT), an organization designed to ensure affordable housing for everyone and to assist with special projects such as the redevelopment of the Griswold Building.
