Carroll assists clients with a full range of government enforcement and compliance issues, from internal compliance reviews to highly publicized government crackdowns. He has substantial experience as a legal advisor for both political and corporate entities, including serving as U.S. Drug Czar for three years and Global Director of Compliance at Ford Motor Company.

A graduate of George Mason University School of Law and the University of Virginia, Carroll began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Virginia Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Fairfax, VA. He went on to serve as Assistant Bar Counsel for the Virginia State Bar before transitioning his career to the federal level.
