FBT is presently engaged in the defense of U.S. Greenfiber, the manufacturer of a product used in residential construction in a class action in federal district court in California involving approximately 10,000 potential class homeowners who claim to have suffer over $500 million in mold related damages. FBT, with attorneys Stephen Embry, Winston Miller and Chris Burnside, along with others, recently obtaining an initial Order denying class certification and is presently resisting an amended class certification motion. The case called for the management of some 7 million electronic and paper documents that were demanded through discovery in this fast tracked proceeding. Other parties in the case include Pulte Home Corporation.
