Irina represents employers in a broad range of labor & employment matters, including federal and state litigation, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings concerning claims of wrongful termination, employment discrimination and retaliation, unfair labor practices, wage and hour violations, and various other employment related claims. Her practice also includes assisting clients with other aspects of the employer-employee relationship such as handbooks, workplace investigations, non-compete and restrictive covenant agreements, unemployment disputes, and other personnel policies and concerns. Irina also serves the firm’s Immigration Group, assisting clients with employment-based immigration matters such as obtaining temporary visas and green cards.
Irina joined the firm in 2019 after she earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. Since joining the firm, Irina has served clients from a variety of industries such as health care, manufacturing, energy, financial services, franchise & hospitality, real estate, and technology. Irina is currently the Treasurer of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section and served as the Vice Chair of Policy for the American Bar Association International Arbitration Committee of the International Law Section for three consecutive years.
