Monica is a senior associate in the firm’s Real Estate group. Her practice focuses on assisting developers, lenders, purchasers and sellers, lessors and lessees in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
Previously serving as senior claims counsel and assistant vice president for a major national title insurance underwriter, Monica has a great deal of experience negotiating and drafting deeds for the purpose of correcting title deficiencies, indemnification and settlement agreements, as well as easements, partial releases and other documents for resolution of real estate title matters. She also managed title curative litigation for residential and commercial lenders, as well as insurance defense litigation.
Monica received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida, where she was a member of the UF Gator Marching Band.
