Jon Bont represents corporate and individual clients at all stages of criminal or civil regulatory investigations and prosecutions, including trial and appeal. He has defended cases involving complex securities, wire fraud, political corruption, racketeering, tax, kickbacks, and medical billing issues, as well as cases involving highly personal allegations of misconduct. Jon was a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana where he prosecuted criminal and civil cases from investigation through trial. Now, he is regularly appointed by the District Judges in the Southern District of Indiana to represent indigent defendants facing serious federal criminal charges and civil litigants needing a trial lawyer.
