Alan represents institutional lenders in complex real estate transactions nationwide, including commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), construction, mezzanine and variable rate (interest cap protected) loans. These loans have been originated for acquiring or refinancing hotel, office, shopping center, multi-family, industrial and self-storage properties. His transactional experience includes ground leases, tenancies-in-common, condominium regimes, mortgage/mezzanine transactions, master lease transactions, portfolio properties and New York/Florida assignments.
Alan received his Juris Doctor in 2013 from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and as a member of the Honor Council. Alan earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, from Asbury College in 2007.
