David has over 35 years of legal experience in real estate. He has assisted on corporate financing deals, zoning reports, transaction and closing requirements, drafting purchase and sale agreements, and draft and release deeds. David has assisted with transaction and closing requirements for single-state and multi-state and single-site or multi-site transactions, including preparing closing documents, authority documents and addressing local and state requirements with transaction parties.

David has worked with title companies to obtain date down endorsements in relation to mortgage modifications and escrow instructions. He also has experience forming and maintaining clients’ legal entities, filing annual reports, registering new entities with the IRS and obtaining EINs. He has analyzed underlying title documents including but not limited to declarations and CCRs to determine if any adverse conditions (to ownership or operation) or third-party rights exist or affect the target property. David has drafted and negotiated legal documents of properties including tenant and landlord estoppels, lease agreements, lease amendments, license agreements, tenant collateral agreements and easement agreements.
