Ben focuses his practice on public finance and works to assist both private and public entities such as 501(c)(3) organizations, cities, counties, and port authorities, in financial matters including bond issuances, project financing, and an assortment of other transactional items. Ben has assisted in serving as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel, and has experience with both taxable and tax-exempt bond issuances. Ben also has worked on Public Private Partnership(P3) transactions, including the monetization of a state university’s parking system. Additionally, Ben has gained experience with tax increment financing (TIF) in both project and bond financing.
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Ben spent four years working in the investment management industry, primarily performing portfolio realignment and equity trading for institutionally managed accounts.
