Amanda primarily represents national lender clients on commercial real estate finance transactions. Her practice is heavily concentrated in representing CMBS, CLO and life company lenders that originate commercial mortgage loans nationwide. She also represents some select borrower clients on complex, structured commercial real estate mortgage loans. She has closed loans across all typical commercial real estate asset classes, including, but not limited to, multifamily, hotel, retail, office, medical office, student housing and self-storage.
Amanda is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is listed in The Best Lawyers in Americaยฎ 2024. She is very active on firm personnel matters, currently serving as a member of the Partner Personnel Committee after previously serving as a member of the Recruiting Committee.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and Davidson College, where she graduatedย cum laude.ย From 2003 through 2012, Amanda worked in the project and infrastructure finance group of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in New York City and Washington, D.C. representing borrowers and lenders in domestic and international transactions, including industrial, power and public-private partnership (P3) infrastructure projects.
