“Hemp Legally Speaking” hosted by D.C. Member-in-Charge Jonathan Miller

The leader of Frost Brown Todd’s (FBT) Hemp practice group and Washington D.C. office has launched the “Hemp Legally Speaking” podcast. “Hemp Legally Speaking,” hosted by Jonathan Miller, is dedicated to helping hemp businesses navigate the emerging legal and regulatory regime for hemp and hemp products like CBD.. Each episode will feature a rotating panel of guests who will join Miller to discuss the legal issues facing the hemp industry. The first episodes discuss the rules governing CBD labeling, the challenges for hemp banking and the controversy surrounding Delta-8 THC. New episodes will be posted twice each month.

In addition to his leadership positions at FBT, Miller serves as general counsel for the U.S. Hemp Roundtable, a trade association that led the fight to secure permanent federal legalization of hemp and address hemp-friendly state regulations. Miller served nearly 20 years in public service, including two terms as Kentucky’s State Treasurer and Deputy Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Energy.

“Though now legal nationally, many questions surround the evolution of hemp businesses. Our Hemp Legally Speaking podcast aims to address some of the questions surrounding the industry,” said Miller. “We have been in the trenches fighting for legalization and regulatory clarity for hemp and hemp products. Through this podcast, we can share our insider expertise helping to interpret the laws and regulations for which we advocated.”
