Zach focuses his practice on the corporate and transactional needs of venture-backed companies, investors, and investment funds. He has experience working with founders at all stages, from forming and structuring entities to be ready for future investment to executing fundraising rounds and exit transactions. Zach also helps guide founders through all the operational issues that come up in between, including preparing incentive equity plans, providing board and governance counsel, and negotiating and preparing various kinds of agreements and contracts.

Zach understands all aspects of forming and operating investment funds. For six years, he served as fund manager of a series of funds that invested in early-stage companies through a Cincinnati accelerator. This gives Zach insight into the company and investor sides of fundraising and exit transactions. Zach uses this experience to assist investment funds with fund formation, due diligence of potential portfolio investments, and analysis and negotiation of potential investment deals. Zach works with individual investors and investor syndicates to execute deals as well.

Jon Cottrell, Vice President, works with the eGateway Capital M&A Advisory team. Based in Dubai, UAE, Jon leverages his unique M&A experience to support the US operations while looking to expand eGateway’s presence in the EMEA and APAC markets. As the “Quarter Back” of transactions, Jon ensures a seamless process for clients from start to close. Jon has completed over 20 transactions, many cross border. Originally from the UK, Jon grew up in Dubai before making his way to the University of Cincinnati to be a part of the men’s soccer team. Graduating with summa cum laude and honors in M.S. Financial Mathematics, he moved to Silicon Valley to join Menalto Advisors, where he spent five years advising and executing M&A strategies with buyers including Affirm, Alibaba, Apple, Coinbase, Google, and Facebook. Jon began his financial career as a Private Equity Analyst at Fund Evaluation Group.

Tanja is Vice President at PubMatic, a public company headquartered in Redwood City, CA that develops digital advertising software for the advertising and publishing industry. Prior to joining PubMatic, Tanja was the CEO and Co-Founder of Martin, which was acquired by PubMatic in 2022. As the CEO of Martin, Tanja was responsible for fundraising, investor relations, finance, growth and customer success. Tanja has 10+ years experience leading business operations and improving outcomes for organizations of all sizes. She holds a Bachelor of Science and MBA from The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Mike Veith, Co-Founder and Partner, works with the Growth Equity team at eGateway Capital. His responsibilities mainly include fundraising, investor relations, and deal sourcing, where he focuses on adding value through community and relationships. Mike has spent his entire professional career building communities, driving growth, sourcing unique investment opportunities, and raising & allocating capital. Before eGateway, he helped craft and launch Constellation Wealth Advisors – a community of like-minded wealth management advisors leveraging a shared philosophy, process, and middle & back-office platform. Prior to Constellation, he spent over a decade at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mike is also a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Cincinnati. Mike has also been an investor and advisor to several early-stage companies in the Midwest as well as a Partner & Owner of the Nature’s Willow brand.. He also serves on the Board of Directors of CTI Clinical Trial & Consulting, one of the world’s largest, privately held clinical research organizations and recently named the #1 CRO in the world at the 2020 CRO Leadership Awards. He graduated summa cum laude from Rollins College, with a major in Economics, and received his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business. During his time there he was a 3-time captain, All-American, and Academic All-American for the Rollins College basketball team.
