Jeff Shoskin and Alex Oxyer will review an employer’s legal obligations under the ADA. They will highlight the potential traps employers encounter when addressing employee requests for workplace or job adjustments. They also will discuss effective ways to engage in the interactive dialogue process – including strict adherence to the four commandments. Finally, case law examples will be dissected to illustrate how employers succeeded and failed in this delicate ADA endeavor.
