Biography

Martin is a prosecuting attorney in Frost Brown Todd’s Columbus office, where he’s a member of the Government Services practice group.

Prior to joining the firm, Martin was an attorney at a large law firm in Columbus where he served as the prosecuting attorney for the City of Dublin in both Franklin County Municipal Court and Dublin Mayor’s Court.  He also served as the prosecuting attorney for the City of New Albany in New Albany Mayor’s Court and for the City of Grandview Heights in Franklin County Municipal Court.

Martin has served as both a Columbus City Prosecutor and Franklin County Prosecutor in addition to spending three years as a criminal defense attorney at another law firm.

He frequently lectures in the areas of search and seizure, probable cause for arrest and OVI laws for the Dublin, New Albany, Grandview Heights and Grove Police Departments. Martin graduated with his juris doctor from Capital University Law school in 1992 where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in the field of Ethics and Responsibility.
