Shanda focuses her practice on land use and environmental projects. She has more than two decades of experience assisting clients with strategizing and processing approvals for new and redevelopment projects, developing California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliant documents and obtaining various environmental approvals necessary for development. She also represents developers of master-planned communities, housing and mixed-use properties, commercial and office parks, retail and restaurants, and luxury campgrounds among others in entitlement and land use development projects. Shanda has a well-developed water quality and water resources regulatory practice advising clients with compliance matters and has represented homebuilders, leading shopping center developers and manufacturers throughout California. Her practice also focuses on advising in agency and citizen-initiated environmental compliance actions under the Clean Water Act and wetlands regulation.
