Saira has an extensive energy and construction complex practice in which she has assisted clients from initial contract negotiations all the way through trial and arbitration. Saira practices in state and federal courts throughout Texas and the Gulf Coast, representing plaintiffs and defendants in an array of high-stakes civil litigation, including complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, fiduciary disputes, business torts, personal injury suits, coverage and indemnity claims, and construction litigation.
Obtained favorable arbitration award on behalf of builder against owner to recover outstanding construction costs in breach of contract claim.
Represented a national builder in indemnity claim against subcontractors and carriers, recovering over $500,000 in attorneys’ fees.
Represented steel fabricator against a breach of contract claim in arbitration and obtained a complete defense verdict, including recovery of attorneys’ fee.
Obtained favorable trial verdict on behalf of nationwide claims handler against seven figure bad faith claim following the theft of insurance proceeds.
Obtained summary judgment for premises owner in a personal injury matter arising out of an electrocution where contractor was alleged to have been an employee/agent of client.
