Robert’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general transactional services, advising business owners, directors, and officers on the legal aspects of a variety of operational and governance issues. Robert provides a broad range of transactional services, including entity planning and formation, private equity fund formation, fundraising and exit transactions, commercial contract review, and otherwise serving as outside general counsel to privately held companies. Robert also focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, leasing, and sales.
Robert graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. During his time in law school, he received CALI Awards, an award given to the highest grade in a class, for five classes and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. Robert also served as a staff editor on the Kentucky Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Robert earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economics from the University of Kentucky.
