Biography

Becky is Chair of the Commercial Finance Practice Group. She focuses her practice on finance and real estate transactions.

Becky represents lenders and borrowers in commercial loans, including agricultural loans, loans sponsored and administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA), commercial real estate finance, commercial and industrial (C&I) loans, asset-based lending, and multi-bank syndicated lending and participations. On the real estate side, Becky regularly represents owners, developers and tenants in the purchase, sale, development and leasing of commercial real estate properties.

Becky has extensive experience representing farm credit associations and banks in the agricultural space on commercial loans, participations, and workouts.  She is a trusted advisor on the eligibility requirements and regulations under the Farm Credit Act.

Becky is also an experienced SBA attorney closing hundreds of SBA 7(a) loans, SBA 504 loans and loans under other SBA programs throughout the country.  She presents to banks on legal issues that often arise in closing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.  Becky helps lead the firm’s PPP Audit and Appeals team, which continues to represent companies, including franchisors and others in the hospitality industry, respond to SBA audit requests and denial letters.

Counsel to national bank for $40 million asset-based revolving credit facility to regional petroleum wholesale company.

Counsel to buyer for $67 million acquisition of shopping centers in Indiana and Kentucky.

Local counsel to major food processing company in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee for $1.7 billion finance transaction.

Counsel to automotive OEM in $200 million expansion in Kentucky, including bond financing and state incentives.
