Minh Hieu is an associate in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Orange County office. Her practice focuses on general business disputes and business torts. Minh Hieu has served clients on diverse matters, including real estate and lease litigation. She started her legal career in public service through the Attorney General’s Honors Program as a Judicial Law Clerk and Attorney Advisor in the Executive Office for Immigration Review within the United States Department of Justice. There, she provided guidance on issues arising under federal immigration and nationality laws.
Minh Hieu earned her J.D. at the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Minh Hieu served as the Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Law Review. She has also served as a judicial extern to two district court judges at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Minh Hieu has previously clerked for the California Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and boutique litigation firms in San Diego. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Minh Hieu taught fourth and fifth grade as an elementary school teacher with Teach for America-Bay Area in San Jose, California.
