At FBT, John drafts and prosecutes patents through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). His practice involves a wide variety of clients in the technology space, those of which he counsels on strategies regarding patent portfolios, competitor infringement, Freedom to Operate positions, and patent protections.
Both John’s technical background and legal practice focus on Chemical Engineering; particularly in analyte sensors, transistor fabrication, yogurt manufacturing, orthodontic devices, and foam bedding. He also carries experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical and medical device spaces.
