Daniel is a patent attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He assists a variety of clients ranging from individual inventors to large corporations, working closely with them to secure the value of their ideas. With an undergraduate degree in chemistry, Daniel is able to understand the intricacies of his clients’ inventions and uses his experience to draft and prosecute patents and advise clients on other IP matters. His scientific background and innate curiosity allow him to skillfully guide clients through the patent process. Daniel has successfully obtained patent protection for clients involving a number of highly technical inventions and helps them manage their complex portfolios.
Daniel is a member of the Ohio and Washington, D.C. bars.
Counsels multiple Fortune 500 companies in the management of their patent portfolios, including the instruction of foreign counsel in pending applications.
Drafts various intellectual property opinions including non-infringement, invalidity, freedom-to-use, and patentability opinions for both small and large corporations.

Acts as a Technical and Business Advisor to U.S. government funded clients.
Conducts numerous prior art searches in the chemical and mechanical art fields.
Prepares and prosecutes U.S. patent applications for diverse inventions in fields such as polymer chemistry, batteries, and metallurgy.
Exemplary experiences include drafting of controlled radical polymerization patents, anionic polymerization patents, star macromolecule patents, fertilizer patents, metal processing patents, flame retardancy patents, cable patents, and personal care composition patents.
