Biography

While competition has always driven businesses to change, the pace of change today is greater than ever before. Connie draws on a wealth of experience while also keeping pace with industry advances to help her clients move both quickly and carefully. Connie’s clients also appreciate the care she takes to understand their unique business all while protecting their competitive advantage in diverse industries across the U.S. and the world.

Connie has extensive experience in the negotiation of software, SaaS and other technology agreements, as well as supply and distribution agreements. Connie particularly enjoys providing assistance with new technologies and has advised clients and negotiated contracts in the area of artificial intelligence. Connie also provides advice and counseling on intellectual property portfolio management and dispute resolution.

Connie previously taught both copyright and trademark law classes at IU McKinney law school and was named Indianapolis Copyright Law “Lawyer of the Year” in 2022 by The Best Lawyers in America®. Connie was also a founding member of the S. Jay Plager Intellectual Property American Inn of Court where she served on the Executive Committee for five years.
