Biography

As a Partner in the firm’s Louisville office, Colin represents clients with their real estate needs, focusing specifically on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions. Colin has worked with lenders and borrowers financing a broad array of commercial assets, including multi-family properties, shopping centers, hotels, offices and self-storage facilities. Colin has experience handling Delaware Statutory Trust loans, tenancies-in-common, mezzanine loans and other complex deal structures.     

Since 2012, Colin has been involved in hundreds of commercial loan transactions. He currently leads a skilled team of attorneys and other legal professionals within the CMBS practice group representing lenders nationwide.

Colin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 2011 with his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Colin served on the editorial board of the Arizona Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Cum laude from the University of Louisville.
