Biography

Abby brings almost two decades of construction law experience to Frost Brown Todd. Abby’s transactional construction practice focuses on contract drafting, review, and negotiation of custom and industry forms, including AIA, DBIA and others, on behalf of owners, developers and design and construction professionals for the development of multifamily housing, hospitality, commercial, and industrial facilities. She also counsels her clients though all project phases from inception to project closeout.

For more than a decade, Abby litigated complex construction defect matters, disputes over contractual obligations and business torts, and defended design professionals against malpractice claims which underpins her transactional practice. Abby places an emphasis on building a strong rapport with clients and working well with opposing counsel to help her clients achieve their business goals.

Abby previously served as chair of the Construction Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Abby has presented on various construction law and law practice topics and is a trained mediator with experience in volunteer mediating.
