For example, to address diversity concerns in the legal profession and create the beginnings of a pipeline toward a more diverse culture in law firms, we re-engineered the traditional “Take Your Child to Work“ day at the firm, inviting students and their parents from Los Angeles’ Southgate neighborhood, some of whom were potential first-generation college students, to visit our office for a day and explore the legal profession as a career.
