Biography

Erin represents creditors and other parties in interest in bankruptcy proceedings, restructurings and out-of-court workouts, along with companies in financial distress. Erin has significant experience in retail and restaurant bankruptcy cases in which she represents owners and managers of shopping centers and addresses the full spectrum of related issues. Erin’s experience includes handling contested assumptions, assignments, and rejections of leases, litigating claims against a debtor’s estate, and related disputes over DIP financing, and issues related to a debtor’s plan of liquidation or reorganization.

Before joining the firm, Erin gained extensive experience in bankruptcy and litigation as an associate at a creditors’ rights firm in Boston, where she maintained a state and federal court practice in Massachusetts and New York.

Creditor/Debtor Experience

Erin represents corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, landlords and secured and unsecured creditors in all facets of commercial insolvency and restructuring, including bankruptcies, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors and Article 9 sales.

Post-Confirmation Administration

Erin has experience representing liquidating trustees and plan administrators in the post-confirmation administration of bankruptcy estates, including overseeing the liquidation of assets, claim reconciliation process, prosecution of avoidance actions and dissolution and wind-down of debtors.

Bankruptcy Litigation

Erin represents all types of clients in bankruptcy related litigation, include preferences, fraudulent transfers, claims defense, non-dischargeability actions, lien avoidance, contested stay relief actions and cramdowns.
