Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Member Ronald E. Gold has been selected to Leadership Cincinnati Class 41, the flagship leadership development program of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. Along with 54 additional participants, Gold will take part in a 10-month long immersive leadership training program focused on developing community leaders. The program is geared toward established and senior influencers who are passionate about making a difference in the community, and focuses on providing content, hands-on experience and conversations with thought leaders. A highly competitive program, Leadership Cincinnati strives to gather a class that reflects all aspects of the diverse Cincinnati metropolitan area. More than 1,700 participants from large corporations, mid-sized companies, non-profits and the government have graduated from the program since its inception in 1977.
Gold has practiced law for nearly 30 years. He concentrates in finance and reorganization law, and primarily focuses on bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy in 2010 and has been recognized in each consecutive edition of Best Lawyers in America® since 2003. In 2012, he was selected as the Best Lawyers Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency Reorganization Lawyer of the Year for the Cincinnati metropolitan area. He has also been named one of Ohio’s leading bankruptcy lawyers by Chambers USA® and by Ohio Super Lawyers® annually since 2004. Gold has served on FBT’s Executive Committee, as chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group, and as vice-chair of the Corporate/Business Department. Gold is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, and earned his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1989.
