Biography

Wenxi is dedicated to advocating for employers through litigation, counseling, and comprehensive workplace solutions. She has experience handling a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and OSHA enforcement. Wenxi also conducts workplace investigations and training programs and assists with drafting and revising employee handbooks and policies.

Prior to joining FBT, Wenxi gained experience across multiple judicial levels. She served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Sarah D. Morrison at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, a Judicial Extern for Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court, and a Judicial Extern for Judge James M. Carr at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Wenxi also sought opportunities to further sharpen her legal research and writing skills, serving as a Dean’s Writing Fellow at IU Maurer and co-authoring the problem for the 2024 Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition.

Wenxi is also committed to serving her community. She was recognized at her law school graduation for completing more than 500 pro bono hours. She held student leadership roles with the American Bar Association, National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and Indianapolis Bar Association & Foundation. In addition, Wenxi co-founded a nonprofit organization, We Can See It, dedicated to raising awareness and reducing gender-based violence in China and worldwide.

When Wenxi is not in the office, she enjoys solving murder mysteries, playing board games such as Werewolf, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
