Thomas’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing. For acquisition and development projects, Thomas works closely with clients advising them across the full scope of their projects, from initial land acquisition to development, redevelopment, and the management and operations of commercial properties.
For commercial leasing, Thomas represents landlords and tenants in drafting and negotiating commercial leases for retail, office and industrial properties, and routinely advises clients and assists in negotiating renewals, amendments, and negotiating lease disputes.
Thomas also assists clients with a wide range of their real estate needs including drafting easements, access agreements, listing agreements, development and construction agreements, property management agreements, owner’s association documents, reciprocal easements, covenants, conditions and restrictions. He represents large commercial clients, including complex joint ventures, and smaller clients with more localized interests.
