Biography

Therese supports clients through complex mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions. Before joining the firm, she gained experience as a Summer Associate at Frost Brown Todd in 2024 and as a Law Clerk at a personal injury firm in 2023.

Therese earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she was recognized with CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Lawyering Skills I, Civil Procedure I, and Alternative Dispute Resolutions. During a semester of law school, she was a legal extern in the Technology Transfer department of the University of Louisville Office of Research and Innovation where she focused her work on drafting, reviewing, and refining agreements related to the licensing and commercialization of emerging technologies as well as intellectual property matters. Therese holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Political Science from Bellarmine University where she was also a member of the Women’s Basketball Team for four years.

Her background also includes industry experience as a Product Manager for an orthopedic medical device manufacturer. There she led a cross-functional team in developing orthopedic implantable products and oversaw operations, inventory, and sales training. She played a key role in marketing, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, trademark management, and FDA 510(k) submissions, gaining a strong foundation in both the legal and business sides of the medical device industry.
