Sarah is an associate in the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Practice Group, where she represents emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and angel investors. She advises clients throughout the business life cycle on matters including venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, corporate governance, and general business operations.
Sarah earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she was a Case Note and Comment Editor for the International Law Review Association, a member of the SMU Duberstein Moot Court team, and a corporate counsel extern at a major U.S. airline. She also gained hands-on experience as a law clerk at a Dallas-based corporate boutique focused on venture transactions and M&A.
Sarah’s judicial experience includes externships with The Honorable Jeffrey Manske of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and The Honorable E. Lee Morris of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Robert L. Jones and The Honorable Brad W. Odell, both of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
