Ron’s practice includes a variety of areas, including professional and general liability defense, healthcare litigation, higher education, commercial litigation, sports and entertainment, and estate planning and administration. Ron is a Senior Member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearing Committee. He leverages this experience in the defense of various healthcare providers in Pennsylvania Department of State licensure investigations, as well as the defense of higher education institutions in different types of agency investigations including, but not limited to, accreditation and deceptive trade practices. Ron also has a proven ability to review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and complex transactions. He always keeps in mind the best interests of his clients and how the outcome of a case will affect them.
Ron was named a 2015 “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer and then received the Allegheny Bar Foundation’s 2016 Young Professional Award of Excellence. It’s no surprise that he has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2017 and 2018, as well as a 2020 “Pennsylvania Trailblazer” by The Legal Intelligencer.
Ron received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Howard University School of Law and Business in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from University of California, Los Angeles in 2002.
