Melissa’s practice is focused on business litigation. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Melissa represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including admiralty and maritime litigation, catastrophic onshore and offshore personal injury litigation, labor and employment disputes, and insurance coverage matters. Melissa has extensive experience representing clients in connection with claims brought under the general maritime law, the Jones Act, and the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act (LHWCA).
Melissa’s practice focuses on various classes of business including energy, construction, marine, insurance, general liability, and general business matters. Melissa provides strategic business counsel, which often includes working with clients on training, safety, investigations, emergency response, and policies and procedures. Melissa represents her clients from pre-suit investigation and evaluation through mediation, trial, and arbitration.
