Biography

Maya has experience working on capital markets transactions, securities regulation, and corporate governance. She advises issuers, underwriters, and private equity sponsors on a broad range of matters, including initial public offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, equity follow-ons, and tender and exchange offerings. She also counsels public companies on SEC reporting obligations, exchange requirements, and governance best practices.

Prior to joining FBT, Maya interned at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission, where she supported Commissioner Hester Peirce’s office and the Division of Investment Management. She also interned at the Office of Political Affairs of the White House and the Office of Aviation and Admiralty at the DOJ.

Maya is admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. and Texas only.
